Go all the way and use this fully loaded pack for your machine. 

This Bundle holds the Key Elements you need to setup a CNC Motion Controller for a large and extra large 4 axis machine. 3Nm recommended for 1000x1000, 1000x1500 and 1500x1500 and 1Nm for smaller builds.

To finish up a complete system you also need to add limit switches, wiresconnectors and an enclosure. The system can be further expanded by adding Pendant, Keyboard, an E-Stop with enclosure and more.

PoKeys57CNC is a general purpose motor controller capable of streaming your G-Code from your PC via USB or Ethernet to your CNC machine. The controller supports both Mach3 and Mach4 via Plugins.

The device is able to controlling up to 8 STEP/DIR signal driven motors (stepper motors, servo drives, etc.)

The controller has dedicated, on board, connectors for connection of upto 8 motor drivers, pendants, (HD44780-compatible) LCD module, etc. In addition, 5 analog inputs with 12-bit resolution are available. The device also features four galvanically-isolated open-collector outputs and isolated 0 to 10 V analog output.

A dedicated PoExtBus/PoNET connector can be used to extend the number of digital outputs for additional 80 outputs in the form of either relay outputs or open-collector outputs. It can also be used to connect various additional peripherals e.g. the dust tight CNC keyboard PoKeysKBD48CNC.

iHSS57 Series of Integrated Closed Loop Stepper Motor is an all-in-one closed loop stepper system which integrates closed loop stepper motor with digital driver and encoder in one compact unit. The integration of the driver greatly simplify the wiring as you only need power and STEP/DIR signals. It is recommended to use a 4 wire shielded cable for the signals and normal two wire power cable.

When compared with stepper systems, Closed Loop or Hybrid Stepper Servo Drive can close the position loop to eliminate "Loss of Steps". An encoder on the stepper counts the steps made and the signal is feed back to the driver that then compensates if necessary. Even if you push the stepper out of position it will return to its current position. This type of drivers is characterized by having output higher torque, much quick response & acceleration. When compared with brushless servo systems, they have much higher starting and low-speed torque, high standstill stiffness, no overshooting, almost zero settling time, and no tuning for almost for all applications – at reasonable price!

We inventory two versions of the iHSS60 - 1Nm and 3Nm torque. Both fit all NEMA 23 applications including the Stainless OX. The motor has a 1000-line encoder attached to the end of the motor case. Use 1Nm for small compact machines and the 3Nm motor for large high power systems.
